In photos: Field Day 2019

A highlight on the Crack Magazine calendar each summer, Field Day made its return to the UK capital last week.

Having staged its past editions at Victoria and Brockwell Park, the London festival upped sticks once again this year and moved to Meridian Water. There, the two-day extravaganza was spread across a 10-acre outdoor area and The Drumsheds – four newly-constructed warehouses that could house 10,000 ravers. A new train station was erected beforehand, ensuring night transport was easily accessible for festival-goers, and former Crack Magazine cover stars Skepta and Jorja Smith filled the headline slots on the main stage.

We took over one of the four warehouses with a Crack Magazine stage, and hosted the likes of Tirzah, Julia Holter, Methyl Ethel, Haelos and more. After Deerhunter ushered in the night, Modeselektor headlined our space with a powerful, driving set of techno – and brought Flohio along as a guest, too.
